Haori is a type of traditional Japanese outerwear, a jacket or blazer-like garment.
 
This 1930s haori is made of ‘kasuri’ silk – a traditional Japanese method of producing a printed fabric. This haori features a plum blossom motif on the lining. It is reversible; you can wear it on both sides.
