Haori is a type of traditional Japanese outerwear, a jacket or blazer-like garment.
 
This haori dating from the 1930s features a vibrant floral motif and striking lining on the sleeves. It is reversible; you can wear it on both sides. This haori has a slightly faded area on the sides. It still has its original basting threads in place which are evidence that it was never worn.
