Haori is a type of traditional Japanese outerwear, a jacket or blazer-like garment.
 
This 1930s haori is made of soft silk and depicts a fan motif, highlighted by a brilliantly hand dyed shibori lining. This haori is reversible; you can wear it on both sides. It still has its original basting threads in place which are evidence that it was never worn.
